A Western Mass juvenile was arrested after he allegedly rammed a police cruiser after being caught in a stolen vehicle. The Hampden County juvenile was captured around noon, Monday, Feb. 21, after the Holyoke Police responded to 306 Chestnut St., for the report of a stolen 2006 gray Subaru Baja. Two men are facing charges in Connecticut after being busted with a host of drugs following a brief chase, police said. In Hartford County, the Enfield Police Department received a BOLO alert out of Hampden County from the Springfield Police Department in Massachusetts advising that a red Mercedes with Connecticut registration tags was on the run from officers shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5. A 63-year-old Connecticut man was arrested after authorities said he was involved in a shooting and then crashed into multiple vehicles, including a police cruiser, during a pursuit. Hartford County resident William Ramos Sr., of New Britain, was arrested following an investigation into a shooting on Friday, Nov. 26, in Manchester. A robbery suspect is wanted in Connecticut after forcing officers into a parked car and striking a police cruiser while fleeing the scene of an investigation. A woman who obstructed traffic while dancing in the middle of traffic at a busy intersection in a hazmat suit took police on a low-speed chase before being apprehended in Western Massachusetts. A Connecticut police officer suffered serious injuries after being pinned between a stolen car and a police cruiser during a pursuit. The incident took place around 12:50 a.m., Monday, Sept. 20, in Hartford County when a Farmington Police officer was responding to a report of a theft of a vehicle on Notch Road. Police are on the hunt in Western Massachusetts for a suspect after a vehicle failed to stop for police before crashing. Man Accused Of Threatening To Shoot Police Officers In Western Mass
A 32-year-old Western Mass man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot two police officers. On Saturday, May 22, a man in Hampshire County threatened to get a gun and shoot two Northampton police officers working a detail, said the Northampton Police. On Monday, May 25, police received an arrest warrant for the man, a resident of Northampton, who was located but when police attempted to arrest him he was able to get into his vehicle took off at a high rate of speed. A Western Massachusetts man is facing a host of charges after taking police on a brief chase before being apprehended with drugs and illegal weapons, officials said. Dalton Police Sgt. Bustin Buzzella was on patrol when he attempted to stop local resident Steven Santana, age 30, for allegedly driving 57 mph in a 35 mph zone. Following a police pursuit on Route 84, two brothers were nabbed in the end by the Massachusetts State Police aircrew. The incident began just before noon on Tuesday, April 13 in Worcester County, when Trooper Brian Gervais, assigned to the state police Sturbridge unit, was observing traffic on Route 84 eastbound in Sturbridge when he spotted a black Acura sedan with no front license plate, state police said.
