Great White Shark Spotted Off The North Shore It appears the heat wave has attracted sharks to the North Shore.  According to the Sharktivity app, a Great White shark was spotted close to Plum Island on the morning of Monday, July 25.  The Sharktivity App tracks sightings backed by researchers, safety officials and people who use the app to upload photos for confirmation. Each sighting is verified by the New England Aquarium.
