The tornado hit the village of West Winfield in southern Herkimer County late Saturday morning, June 22. It's about 60 miles east of Syracuse and 85 miles west of Albany. The tornado touched down Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Windham County in Killingly. It then traveled over the towns of Foster, Glocester, and Lincoln in Providence County, Rhode Island, and then finally, into North Attleboro, Massachusetts, in Bristol County.
