A Tewksbury man was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in Boston, authorities said. Ron Bell, age 22, was wanted in connection to a shots fired incident that happened in Mattapan on the evening of July 4, according to Boston Police. He arrested on numerous violent offenses at his home on 22 Revere Road in Tewksbury on Monday, July 11, Tewksbury Police said. Drunk Boston Teenager Driving Scooter Wrong Way Strikes Police Cruiser
A 16-year-old from East Boston was arrested after he drove his scooter into a Boston Police cruiser while drunk, authorities said. The teenager was traveling the wrong down Helen Street onto Bernard Street in Dorchester when he struck the cruiser just before 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, Boston Police said. In addition, a 16-year-old passenger from Jamaica Plain fled the scene on foot. Police recovered a 9mm Beretta APX firearm with an obliterated serial number as he flew, police said. 24-Year-Old Arrested After Trying To Access Tiger Enclosure At Zoo In New England, Police Say
A man has been arrested after police say he tried to access the tiger enclosure at a zoo in the region. At approximately 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, Massachusetts State Police troopers responded to the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, where security staff had detained the man who they say broke into the zoo and was attempting to gain access to the enclosure. The man, identified as Matthew Abraham, age 24, of Worcester, was stopped by security before he could access the enclosure and was not harmed, police said.
