Four Displaced After House Fire Discovered By Alert Sixth-Grader Breaks Out In Western Mass A sixth-grader in Western Massachusetts saw something and said something, helping to ensure the safety of families living in a multi-family home where a fire broke out on Friday morning. The Holyoke Fire Department received an emergency call at 8:18 a.m. on Friday, June 11 after a sixth-grader alerted his mother to a fire at a two-family home on Allyn Street.
