Authorities are investigating the cause of an explosion at a gas station in Norfolk County Friday night, Aug. 30, that sent four people to the hospital — two of them with severe burns, police said. The explosion was reported just after 6 p.m. at the Sav-More Gas Station at 220 South Main St. in Bellingham, Bellingham police said. Firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and take the injured to area hospitals. A 19-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were killed in a single-car crash in Vermont over the weekend after their vehicle caught on fire, authorities said. Sean Delaney and Elana Korey, both of Duxbury, were killed in the Middlesex, Vermont, crash on I-89 Sunday, July 28, Vermont State Police said. The fire that killed an 80-year-old man in Revere on Monday, July 15, was likely sparked by a cigarette, investigators said. Firefighters were called to the 104 Patriot Parkway home at about 5:45 a.m. to find heavy smoke pouring out of the house. Crews were told the elderly man had limited mobility and was trapped inside, the state Fire Marshal's Office said.
