Mass. Gas Station Explosion Sends 4 To Hospital With Burns
Authorities are investigating the cause of an explosion at a gas station in Norfolk County Friday night, Aug. 30, that sent four people to the hospital — two of them with severe burns, police said. The explosion was reported just after 6 p.m. at the Sav-More Gas Station at 220 South Main St. in Bellingham, Bellingham police said. Firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and take the injured to area hospitals. Battery Explosion Sparked North Andover Fire
Authorities say a fire that began on the second-story balcony of an apartment in North Andover started when a lithium-ion battery exploded Firefighters were called to 99 Edgelawn Ave. just before 6:30 p.m. on July 7. A battery had been left in the sun for hours, causing it to overheat and explode. 3 Homemade Bombs Found In Worcester; Police Warn Of Unattended Items
Worcester police say they have located three explosive devices throughout the city since they found the remnants of a small explosion last month. Police learned of the explosion on Wednesday, June 19, at 185 Madison St. They found fireworks, a butane gas can, and projectile materials at the scene, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.
