AccuWeather meteorologists have just unveiled their forecast for the winter of 2024-25 and have released a map of where in the US the most snowfall is expected. In the image above, higher-than-average snowfall is predicted for those areas shown in light blue, with most areas in the Northeast are expected to receive more snow this season than last winter. With the Labor Day weekend marking the unofficial end of summer, forecasters are starting to look ahead and predict what's in store for the winter of 2025. Beryl, now a tropical depression a day after becoming the first hurricane to make landfall in the US in 2024, will bring heavy rainfall to much of the Northeast.
