34-Year-Old From Region Seriously Injured In Crash After Eluding Cops: Police A motorist suffered serious injuries in a crash after eluding police in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police said the incident occurred in New London County at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Colchester. Tolland County resident David Justin Carnein, age 34, of the town of Tolland, was riding a 2001 Triumph motorcycle recklessly on Lebanon Avenue. Police had previously attempted to stop Carnein, but he fled at a high speed, said state police. Man Raped Woman At CT Birthday Party: Police A 42-year-old Massachusetts man is accused of plying a woman with alcohol at a Connecticut party before he forcibly raped her in a hot tub during a friend's birthday party, authorities said.  Luis Alberto Elicier, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was charged with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint, Connecticut State Police said.  Elicier was at a small gathering of friends at a Tolland home for a birthday party on Thursday, Sept. 26.
