Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket, a 92,000-square-foot park on 13 acres next to Foxwoods, will open on Friday, May 23, Great Wolf Resorts said. The $300 million resort is part of a partnership with the Pequot tribe, promising year-round indoor water fun and family-friendly attractions. A trust allows the winner to remain anonymous.  Related: East Boston Woman Knows How She'll Spend Her $1 Million Jackpot The winner collected the payout by playing the Massachusetts State Lottery's “Lifetime Millions" game, a $50 scratch-off ticket.  They chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  Honey Farms at 487 Princeton Road in Fitchburg sold the ticket. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Fatal Crash: 36-Year-Old Fitchburg Man ID'd As Victim On New York Roadway A motorist from Massachusetts was killed after his vehicle overturned on a Hudson Valley roadway. It happened just after 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct.19 in Rockland County on the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP) southbound, in the town of Ramapo. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Saab was traveling south in the village of Pomona when, for reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle exited the roadway,, New York State Police, said.  The car struck multiple trees and overturned, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.  The operator of the vehicle, Worcester County …
