Police ID 41-Year-Old Woman Killed In Head-On Wilmington Crash Authorities have identified the woman who died earlier this week after her car crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle in Wilmington. Erica Mastropietro, 41, was driving a Lexus eastbound on Route 62 just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, when, for unknown reasons, her car veered into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. Driver Was On Phone When He Hit, Killed Woman In Bedford: DA A 34-year-old Billerica man is believed to have been on his phone when he crashed into a 53-year-old woman, killing her, authorities said.  The man, whose name was not released, hit the woman on Saturday, July 20, just after 3:30 p.m. as she walked her bicycle across Concord Street, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  Paramedics rushed the woman to Lahey Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, the prosecutor's office said.
