Massachusetts Man Seriously Hurt In CT Hit-Run Crash After Stepping Out Of His Car A 38-year-old Massachusetts man was seriously injured after a car crashed into him in Connecticut, on Friday night, Aug. 30.  In Cromwell, Connecticut, police were called to south I-91 just after 8 p.m. after a "small, white Honda sedan" veered onto the shoulder and crashed into a parked car, Connecticut State Police said.  The driver, a man from Woburn, Massachusetts, had stepped out of the vehicle when he was hit. The other people inside his car — all from Woburn — were not hurt. CT State Troopers Smash Allegedly Drunk Driver’s Window Connecticut State Police had to smash a window and use a taser on a 24-year-old man before charging him with alleged drunk driving.  The incident occurred in Middlesex County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, on 1-91 northbound in Middletown between the rest area and Exit 20.  According to State Police, troopers found a black GMC Sierra pickup with a Massachusetts license plate parked in the right climbing lane and several damaged DOT traffic cones.  The truck's engine was running, and the driver was slumped over the steering wheel, state police said.
