The skiers, part of a heli-skiing group, were reportedly trapped under the snow when the massive avalanche occurred.  The depth of the snowpack poses a significant recovery challenge, with estimates suggesting the skiers could be buried anywhere between 40 and 100 feet. Nathaniel Williams, 67, succumbed to injuries sustained in the Monday, Dec. 2 blaze, according to Middleborough Fire Chief Owen Thompson. Foxboro Man Saved After Falling On Hike In New Hampshire A Foxborough man was rescued over the weekend after falling while trying to navigate a narrow bridge and carry his son during a hike in New Hampshire.  Michael Kelly, age 35, was saved on Sunday, July 28, after he slipped around noon and fell while hiking along the Greeley Ponds Trail, New Hampshire wildlife officials said.  He was carrying his young son and fell from a wooden bridge causing serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
