A 51-year-old school bus driver faces charges after she was caught bringing children to school while under the influence of alcohol in Worcester County, police said. Jane Welch, age 51, was arrested on Thursday, March 14, following an incident in Westborough, according to Westborough Police. Westborough Police are asking the public for help in finding a suspected vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured a 12-year-old boy this week. Police responded to a report of a young man being hit by a car at the rotary near West Main and Milk streets around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, police said on Facebook. The Regal Cinema in Westborough may have closed down, but one Shrewsbury man put on a performance worthy of an action movie in the parking lot earlier this week. Snehal Srivastava and another man got into an argument at the 233 Turnpike Road lot around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, Westborough Police said. A Massachusetts State Police K9 officer named Frankie died on Tuesday night, July 26, after a 38-year-old suspect shot him during a standoff in Fitchburg earlier that day.
