A driver charged in a crash that killed a 10-year-old girl had been arrested just days before the incident, according to newly released court records.
Sherrie Mae Plitouke, 35, of Southbridge, is accused of crashing into and killing 10-year-old Marleigh Guevara on April 11 in Webster. She was arraigned on charges of motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation, and speeding on Tuesday, April 21.

Walgreens Announces Dozens Of Upcoming Store Closures, Including 11 MA Locations
Walgreens announced this past fall that it will close about 1,200 stores over three years amid a decline in prescription drug payments and a rise in online competition.
About 500 of those closures will be in 2025.

A Massachusetts business owner from northern Connecticut will spend time in prison for tax fraud after failing to report just under $1 million in income for several years, federal officials said.
Windham County resident Mariusz Kalinowski, age 48, of Woodstock, was sentenced to seven months in prison on Wednesday, April 26 for tax fraud, according to the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut.

UPDATE: Webster Police report that the Melewskis were located in Clinton, CT and were transported to the hospital for evaluation.
Authorities in Central Massachusetts have issued a Silver Alert for a missing elderly couple from Webster.
Janusz, 77, and Stanislawa Melewski, 94, were last seen at their Webster home around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, Webster Police said on Facebook.
The couple reportedly stopped in Shrewsbury earlier in the day, around 6:15 p.m., asking for directions back home, according to police. They never returned.

Two Passengers Ejected, Killed In Weekend Central Massachusetts Rollover Crash
Two people have died in a rollover crash in Central Massachusetts, authorities said.
Leeha Thompson, age 21, of Southbridge, and Carlos Ortiz-Pomales, age 20, of Framingham, were killed in the Worcester County crash that happened on I-395 southbound in Webster the morning of Sunday, June 26, Massachusetts State Police said.
Responding troopers discovered three passengers were ejected from the vehicle and all three, including the driver, were taken to UMass Medical for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
Death Investigation Underway In Central Mass (Details)
Multiple police departments are investigating after a body was found in at a shopping plaza in Webster, authorities said.
The investigation was launched after the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, was found at the Webster Commons Plaza around 2:45 a.m. on Friday, June 17, Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police closed a significant area per the investigation including several businesses Planet Fitness, Big Lots, Aubochon Hardware, The Salvation Army, Papa Gino's, and Rent A Center.
