Western Mass Man Admits To Drunken Crash That Killed Partner, Mom Of His Daughter: DA
A 30-year-old Hampshire County man has admitted to causing the 2023 rollover crash that killed his longtime partner and mother of his daughter, authorities announced on Monday, April 22. Cory Menard, of Granby, pleaded guilty to vehicle homicide while operating negligently and under the influence of alcohol; and reckless assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the Northwestern District Attorney said. Woman ID'd In Fatal Taunton Crash, Medford Man Officially Charged: Police
Authorities have identified a woman killed in a fatal Taunton crash as 54-year-old Lori Ann Medeiros of Middleborough. Medeiros died after Hector Bannister-Sanchez, of Medford, crashed into her car on Kingman Road in Taunton on the afternoon of Monday, Nov. 7, Massachusetts State Police report. Bannister-Sanchez tried running away after the crash, but was caught and taken into custody. He was taken to Morton Hospital for treatment only to be released the next day. Charlene Casey Sentenced To Year In Jail In Death Of 2-Year-Old Colin McGrath
Charlene Casey, the South Boston woman found guilty of negligent motor vehicle homicide in the death of toddler Colin McGrath, was sentenced to a year in prison on Thursday. Though, she will only spend 60 days behind bars as the judge suspended the remainder of the sentence.
