Mass Man Guilty Of Kidnapping, Throwing 7-Year-Old Off I-290 Bridge: DA
A Worcester County jury has found Joshua Hubert guilty of kidnapping a 7-year-old girl, strangling her, and throwing her off an I-290 bridge into Lake Quinsigamond, authorities said.
Hubert, 43, of Worcester, was convicted of two counts of attempted murder, one count of strangulation, and one count of kidnapping a child on Thursday, Sept. 18. He was acquitted of two counts of aggravated rape in the 2017 attack, the Worcester County District Attorney said.
He faces up to 35 years in prison when Judge Karin Bell sentences him on Oct. 3, authorities said.

A Bucks County judge found Justin D. Mohn guilty on all counts on Friday, July 11, in the brutal shooting and beheading of his father, a federal engineer, in their Levittown home.
Judge Stephen A. Corr, who presided over the bench trial, sentenced Mohn, 33, to two life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 47 years, immediately after delivering the verdict in Courtroom 410 of the Bucks County Justice Center.

A jury convicted a Massachusetts man of the brutal quadruple murder of his cousin's wife and her three young children at their Worcester County home, prosecutors said.
Matthew Locke, 38, formerly of Ware, was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of Sara Bermudez, 38, Madison Bermudez, 8, James Bermudez, 6, and Michael Bermudez, 2, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.

A Merriman man was convicted on Thursday, April 13, of stabbing a man to death during an armed robbery gone wrong, authorities said.
Kaiden Henderson, 21, was found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of 26-year-old Jose Vasquez in 2020, the Essex County District Attorney said. Vasquez was killed on Nov. 21 in his Marble Street home in Haverhill.
