A North Bergen woman was arrested after police say she hit several protesters with her vehicle during a public demonstration in Fairview on Saturday, July 12 (scroll for video). Man Dies Struggling With Haverhill Police Outside Local Restaurant
A man died while struggling with a Haverhill police officer outside of a neighborhood seafood restaurant, authorities announced. Police say the 43-year-old man was acting erratically near 115 White Street Friday evening, July 11. A caller told police the man had fallen to the ground while leaving a building, then ran into the street and hit a car with his head before continuing down White Street, Haverhill officials said. A 57-year-old Massachusetts man was killed earlier this week when he was involved in a three-car crash on I-95 South in Foxboro, authorities said. William Martindale, 57, of Attleboro, was killed around 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, from a crash just before Exit 23B, Massachusetts State Police said. A bicyclist has died after being hit by a truck in Boston, according to authorities and other news outlets. The incident happened in the area of Huntington Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue around 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, Boston Police and WHDH report.
