An armed man shouted threats to a resident who was inside his home, leading to an hours-long standoff that ended with a single gunshot, officials say. In Bristol County, a man was arrested for holding a handgun and making threats to an individual from outside the victim's duplex on Pratt Street on Wednesday, Feb. 15, according to the Taunton Police Department. An individual was arrested following a multi-hour armed standoff outside a Methuen home, authorities said. Officers responded for a report of the individual for another incident at the home on Arabian Drive just after 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, Police Chief Scott McNamara reports. A police standoff in Marlborough that lasted several hours started with destruction of property and ended in tears – literally. Marlborough Police responded to a report of a man smashing windows and breaking furniture in his trailer at Val's Mobile Home Park around 1:17 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, Sgt. A Tewksbury man was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in Boston, authorities said. Ron Bell, age 22, was wanted in connection to a shots fired incident that happened in Mattapan on the evening of July 4, according to Boston Police.
