Update: Truck Carrying Boston Mayor Was 'Unable To Avoid' Crash With SUV The truck that carried Boston's Mayor had its sirens and lights turned on when an SUV crashed into it, according to a police report.  In Hyde Park, a department pickup truck was transporting Mayor Michelle Wu when an SUV, traveling fast, crashed into it around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, according to a Boston Police Department report.  The department truck was driving down Blakemore Street, with lights and sirens activated, and attempted to turn left on Hyde Park Avenue on a red light, the report said.  The first lane of traffic observed the SUV's lights and sirens and cam…
