Driver Killed In Stoneham I-93 Crash ID'd As Somerville Woman, 34
Authorities have identified the woman killed in a crash in Stoneham on Wednesday morning, Dec. 13. Kayla E. Discroll, age 34, died when she was ejected from her 2015 Nissan Rogue SUV after it rolled over on I-93 North near Exit 25 just before 9 a.m. Police are not sure what caused her vehicle to crash. But investigators are asking for the public's help to find a dark-colored SUV similar to a Subaru Crosstrek or a Nissan Rogue that was seen speeding and driving erratically earlier that morning between Medford and Stoneham. Update: Police are asking for the public's help in finding a small SUV that was spotted speeding and driving erratically near the fatal I-93 crash on Thursday morning. Investigators say the vehicle is close to a Subaru Crosstrek or a Nissan Rogue. Double-Fatal Crash: Man, Woman Struck By Compact SUV In Capital Region Crosswalk
Police are investigating a horrific double-fatal overnight crash in the region. It happened around 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 near the New York/Massachusetts border in Columbia County, in the town of New Lebanon. New York State Police said an investigation determined a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Western Massachusetts resident Erica C. Florin, age 36, of the town of Lee in Berkshire County, was eastbound on US Highway 20 when she struck two pedestrians in the crosswalk.
