26-Year-Old Mass Man Killed In Route 495 Crash In Westford A 26-year-old Massachusetts man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 495. The crash occurred in Middlesex County around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at mile marker 84 in Westford. According to Dave Procopio of the Massachusetts State Police, the crash involved a tractor-trailer that had struck and overrode a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.  Westford Fire and EMS arrived on-scene and first responders began attempting to extricate the driver of the Tacoma,  The driver, a 26-year-old Essex County resident from Lawrence, was pronounced dead on the scene, Procopio said. A serious crash on a highway in Middlesex County caused three people to suffer serious injuries and resulted in temporary road closures and traffic backups as authorities conducted an investigation.  The incident happened on Wednesday morning, Oct. 4, around 9:50 a.m., when a 2022 Volkswagen Taos sport utility vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 495 near the Chelmsford rest area crossed the median into the northbound lanes and struck a 2006 BMW sedan, state police announced.  The driver of the BMW, a 75-year-old Ayer man, was seriously injured …
