An 18-year-old is being held without bail after authorities say he fatally stabbed someone in a fight over the weekend in Chelsea. Joksin Briones-Blandon, of Malden, is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of 44-year-old Santos Cartegena on Saturday, July 20, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Police in Holbrook are investigating a triple stabbing that happened early Saturday morning, July 13. A Suffolk County jury convicted a 39-year-old Everett man on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the vicious beating and stabbing death of a Boston man who was trying to protect his girlfriend, authorities said.
