Boston police arrested a man they say vandalized several landmarks, including the Holocaust Memorial and Paul Revere's grave. Lawrence Hawkins, 46, of Boston, faces multiple charges after police said he left a trail of destruction that began on Saturday, Nov. 25. It started with Hawkins breaking into a building near 125 Charles St., Boston police said. Mass State Trooper Hospitalized After Assault By Wanted Weymouth Man In Boston
A wanted man assaulted a pair of law enforcement officers and attempted to get others to intervene on his behalf, officials say. Joseph W. Russell, of Weymouth, was arrested on Monday, July 3 after kicking and punching a police officer and a state trooper, sending the state trooper to the hospital, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
