Couple 'In Debt' To Somerville Officers Who Successfully Delivered Their Baby A couple from Walpole is praising first responders from Somerville for helping them successfully deliver their newborn on the side of the road last month.  The couple was on their way to Mount Auburn Hospital after the mother's water broke on the night of June 14, the father told the Somerville Police Department.  "Along the way we called the hospital for help and got disconnected," he explained.
