Woman Rescued, Airlifted After Acton Home Goes Up In Flames: Officials
A woman needed to be flown to the hospital after she was pulled from from a burning home in Acton, fire officials said. Crews responded to the fire at a single-family home at 23 Washington Street in Acton at 7:34 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, Acton Fire Chief Robert Hart reports. Upon arrival, firefighters saw heavy flames coming from the raised-ranch. The fire eventually struck a second alarm and required additional support from several neighboring departments. 7 Dogs Die In 2-Alarm Central Massachusetts House Fire: Officials
Seven dogs are dead and several more animals were rescued from a burning home in North Central Massachusetts over the weekend, officials said. Crews responded to a two-alarm fire at 47 Mill Street in Pepperell around 8:11 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, according to Pepperell Fire Chief Brian Borneman. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from both ends of the home. Multiple crews were on the scene of a 2-alarm fire in Lynn, unconfirmed reports said. The fire was initially reported at 44 Allerton Street around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30, according to a Tweet from @ChelseaScanner.
