The United States Coast Guard has announced a formal investigation into a fire that occurred on the Spirit of Boston on Friday, March 24, the organization reports. The second-alarm fire started aboard the small passenger vessel docked at Commonwealth Pier in the Seaport District around 11:30 p.m., according to Boston Fire on Twitter. One woman was injured after a light pole fell and hit her on the Moakley Bridge in Boston, authorities said. First responders were called to the scene around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, a Boston EMS spokesperson told Daily Voice.
