Methuen Rallies For Family Of Woman Who Died Pinned Between 2 Trucks An Essex County woman died in a freak accident last week, leading to an outpouring of support for her family. Alyssa Fluet, age 21, of Methuen, died on Monday, Aug. 14 in Long Island, Maine, while trying to stop a 1998 Ford Ranger that was rolling from a parked position, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. The Ford Ranger rolled into a 2004 Ford Ranger, pinning Fluet between the trucks and killing her.  Fluet was born in Lawrence and grew up in Methuen, where she attended Methuen High School, according to her obituary. Child Porn: Hamilton Attorney Sentenced After Pleading Guilty To Hundreds Of Images A child pornography investigation culminated in the sentencing of a man who worked as an attorney, according to officials and reports.  William Searson, of Hamilton, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on Tuesday, June 27, and was sentenced to two and a half years in jail, with nine months served, followed by nine months of house arrest, according to the Hamilton Police Department.  Searson was discovered to have hundreds of images of child porn via a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children network.
