Over 200 Flights Canceled At Boston Logan Airport As Pre-Christmas Storm Persists
People's pre-holiday travel plans could be jeopardized as a pre-Christmas storm continues to dump rounds of rain and bring strong winds to Massachusetts. Boston Logan Airport has reported more than 280 total cancelations as of 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, according to Flight Aware. People can see the current list of cancelations and delays here. As always, airport officials advise passengers to call their airlines before heading to the airport to board their plane for any last minute changes. People can also check the status of their flight by checking Logan's flight status tracker.

A potent pre-Christmas storm packed with damaging wind gusts bringing a mix of heavy rain, sleet, and snow to the region will be followed by a rapid freeze as temperatures plummet. The time frame for the storm is from Thursday afternoon, Dec. 22 to Friday evening, Dec. 23.
