E-Scooter Battery Explosion Blamed For Fire That Injured 5 In Chelsea
Fire investigators believe a fire that hurt five people over the weekend in Chelsea was caused when an electric scooter's lithium-ion battery exploded while it was charging. Firefighters were called to 32 Carmel Street just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, to reports of a fire on the first floor of a three-story building. Crews moved into the four-unit apartment and quickly put out the blaze before it could spread to other units. Five people were hurt in the fire. Ceiling Collapse Hospitalizes Deli Customer At Middleton Market Basket
A box fell through the ceiling of a Market Basket, striking and injuring a person waiting in the deli line. Firefighters received a call around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 reporting a person injured from a ceiling collapse of the Market Basket located at 230 South Main Street, Middleton Fire Department confirmed to Daily Voice. Winchester Spa Owner, Mom Bed-Ridden After Hit By Car Just Before Christmas
A local spa owner and mother will be out of work for several weeks after she was the victim of a hit-and-run in Winchester just before Christmas. Kathy Auciello was injured in the crash that happened near the intersection of Main and Vine Streets around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, WCVB reports. IDs Released For Duo Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-495 In Mansfield
Authorities have identified the two people killed in an early morning multi-vehicle crash in Mansfield as Crystal Blake, age 32, of Dorchester, and Roland Roberge, age 27, of Norton. Crews responded to the crash on I-495 south just after the South Main Street bridge in Mansfield just before 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, Mansfield Fire said on Facebook.
