Pedestrian Struck, Killed While Walking On Sidewalk In North Andover: DA
Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed in North Andover this weekend, officials said. The pedestrian was walking on a sidewalk along Massachusetts Avenue near Route 125 when they were hit by a Honda Civic around 1:30 p.m., the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports. The pedestrian was taken to Lawrence General Hospital where they were pronounced dead. Their identity has yet to be released. The driver stayed on scene and so far, no charges have been filed or citation have been issued, the DA's Office added. The investigation is ongoing.

Police shut traffic down in front of Lincoln Elementary School to after an adult male was hit by a car, MassLive reports. Chelmsford Street, from Lincoln Street to Nottingham Street, was closed to traffic while police investigated the crash that took place in the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 14, according to the Lowell Police Department. Second Person Fatally Struck By Car On Same Street In Chicopee This Week
A pedestrian has been fatally struck by a car on the same street in Chicopee for this second time this week, Western Mass News reports. Police responded to the crash near Jenrose Liquors on Chicopee Street around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, Chicopee Police said on Facebook. While the person's condition was immediately unknown, Western Mass News said the victim died on Thursday. Unlicensed Driver Strikes, Kills 77-Year-Old Malden Man Walking In Medford
An unlicensed driver from is facing charges after hitting and killing a 77-year-old man in Medford, authorities said. Police responded to a pedestrian-involved crash in the area of 330 Middlesex Avenue in Medford around 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, Massachusetts State Police said. The 77-year-old, later identified as Walter Wishoski, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 44-Year-Old Sudbury Man Hit And Killed Walking In Acton
A 44-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed Thursday night, Oct. 13, while walking in Acton, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced. Kevin Shaw of Sudbury was on Great Road near Brook Street when a 17-year-old driver in a Subaru wagon crashed into him just after 6:30 p.m., officials said. Responders rushed Shaw to Lahey Clinic, where he later died of his injuries. The driver remained at the scene of the wreck. Police are still investigating the causes of the crash. Authorities have not filed charges.
