Salem Community Childcare Under Investigation, Police Said Police in Essex County said a mail carrier called officers last week when they found a 3-year-old walking alone on a Salem street without shoes. The daycare the boy walked away from is now under investigation.  Salem police were called to the Palmer Street area to reports of a young child walking alone just after 11:15 a.m. on Dec. 8. They found the boy wearing a long-sleeved shirt, sweatpants, and just socks on his feet, officials said. Salem Mother Dies In Easter Sunday Car Accident, Family 'Overwhelmed' By Support A pedestrian who was hit by a car on Easter Sunday has been identified as a 41-year-old mother of four, according to officials.  Tammi Lyn Guy, of Salem, suffered extensive injuries from being hit by a vehicle in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Wilson Street in Salem on Sunday, April 9, according to the Salem Police Department.  Guy was transported to North Shore Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.  In addition to leaving behind her four children, Alahna, Cody, Amaya, and Ava, Guy is survived by her partner, Shawn Bryer, according to a GoFundMe set up for he…
