(Update) Boxford Man Charged With Drunk Driving Fatal Crash In Newbury: DA An Essex County man with an outstanding warrant was arrested for driving drunk in a crash that led to a man's death, officials say.  James Turcotte, 63, of Danvers, died after his motorcycle and another motorcycle collided on Route 1 in Newbury on Thursday, July 13, according to the Newbury Police Department.  The crash was reported around 7:45 p.m., after which police responded and found Turcotte suffering from serious injuries, but alive.  Turcotte was taken to Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport where he eventually died.  The other involved motorcyclist, Scott Dam…

Rowley Man Dies In 3-Alarm Fire, Cause Under Investigation A three-alarm fire claimed the life of a man who became the sixth older adult to die in a house fire in the past three weeks, officials say.  A passerby spotted smoke emanating from a home at 2 Railroad Avenue around 4:10 a.m. on Friday, April 21, according to the Rowley Fire Department.  Firefighters responded and saw smoke and flames coming from inside the home.
