Man Hospitalized After Single-Car Crash In Georgetown
First responders attempted to save the life of a man who was seriously injured in an Essex County crash until paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, officials say. A 74-year-old man was injured in a crash that occurred just before 9:40 a.m. on Monday, Aug 14 on East Main Street (Route 133) in Georgetown, according to the Georgetown Police and Fire Departments. Plane Makes Hard Landing In Newbury, But Pilot Walks Away Without Serious Injury
A pilot walked away from a hard landing in Newburyport on Wednesday, Aug. 31, that left his plane broken on a runway at Plum Island Airport. The 1949 Navion single-piston propeller plane hit hard as it landed just after 11 a.m. and ended up nose down on the runway, the Newbury Fire Department said.
