Eastern Mass Woman, 26, Dies Unexpectedly, Community Pours Out Support The family of a Middlesex County woman who died at just 26 years old is getting a surge of support from their community.  Jessica Lynne Dowdy, of Waltham, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 19 at age 26, according to her obituary.  Dowdy was born in Boston and graduated from Framingham High School before attending MassBay Community College for Nursing and Quinsigamond Community College for Science and Nursing. Boston Outdoor Enthusiast, 22, Killed By Lightning While Camping In Wyoming A Massachusetts family is mourning the loss of their 22-year-old son who was struck by lightning and killed during an outdoors course in Wyoming.  John "Jack" Murphy was struck by lightning while camping in the Absaroka Mountains on Tuesday, Aug. 2, according to a release from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).  Murphy was attending NOLS' Wilderness First Responder expedition when he and another student were struck.
