A 58-year-old Peabody man was convicted Tuesday, Aug. 8, of gunning down his estranged wife a month after she requested a divorce in 2018, authorities announced. Emilio Matarazzo was found guilty of first-degree murder in the slaying of Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo following a 16-day trial in Middlesex County, the Middlesex District Attorney said. Chiropractor Secretly Filmed Patients In Bathroom Of Peabody Office: DA
A Middlesex County chiropractor is accused of filming at least one person naked in the bathroom of his Peabody business, authorities said. Scott Kline, 44, of Middleton, is charged with photographing an unsuspecting nude person and was being held on a $10,000 bail, the Middlesex District Attorney said. A missing child was found dead in a body of water in Tewksbury, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marion Ryan. Anna Mburu, a 7-year-old Lowell resident, went missing after being last seen on Sunday, July 9 between 2 and 3 p.m. in the area of East Merrimack Street in the Belvidere neighborhood in Lowell, according to the Lowell Police Department. The Middlesex District Attorney is asking residents in Newton to be on alert after three "elderly" residents were found murdered in a home on Broadway Street on Sunday morning, June 25, authorities said. Lowell Man Shot, Killed His Wife On Christmas Before Killing Himself: DA
A 60-year-old Lowell man killed his wife and then himself on Christmas, authorities confirmed on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Jose Santiago, 60, is believed to have shot his wife, Rosa Santiago, 55, at their home on Beacon Street just after 1:30 p.m., the Middlesex District Attorney said. Authorities are looking for a 21-year-old man accused of shooting and killing over a traffic dispute in Lowell earlier this month, officials said. Rafael Garcia-Rey is believed to have shot and killed 26-year-old Odogwu Ganobi of Lowell on Nov. 15 after they got into an argument about a traffic dispute at the intersection of Maitland Avenue and Chelmsford Street, the Middlesex District Attorney said.
