Firefighters rescued several people who became stranded mid-air on a ride after it stopped working at a popular Massachusetts zoo. The Skyfari ride at Southwick’s Zoo—which offers guests a scenic aerial view of the sprawling Mendon park—unexpectedly halted on Monday, July 21, leaving passengers suspended above the ground. Flooding, Power Outages Plague Mass After Storms Pummel Northeast
Heavy downpours led to widespread flooding and power outages across eastern Massachusetts on Monday, Dec. 18, and it could be days before authorities can restore electricity to all homes. One Sherborn officer takes walking a beat to a whole new level. Officer Doug Kingsley is hiking across Massachusetts —219 miles — to raise awareness of the mental health struggles of his brothers and sisters in uniform.
