Haverhill Mom Of 2 ID'd As Woman Hit, Killed By Car In Methuen A 23-year-old mother was struck and killed earlier this week in Methuen, authorities announced. Erika Newvill, of Haverhill, was hit by a Honda CR-V near 301 Merrimack St. (Route 110) around 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11. The driver remained at the scene, Methuen police said.  Paramedics rushed Newvill to Lawrence General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, authorities said. Mugshot Released: Suspected NJ Drunk Driver Who Killed NHL Star, Brother The mugshot was released for the Woodstown man accused of driving drunk, killing an NHL star and his brother. The Salem County Correctional Facility released the mugshot of 43-year-old Sean Higgins to Newsweek. Higgins was charged with two counts of death by auto in the Thursday, Aug. 29 crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. Johnny, 31, played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames. College Student Calls On Lynn Community After His Father, 'Best Friend' Dies Suddenly An Essex County man and devoted father with the "most loving, gentle soul on earth" is being memorialized by his son, with help from their community.  Philip Randazzo, age 50, of Lynn, died on Wednesday, July 19 after a sudden illness, according to his obituary.  Randazzo was a talented carpenter known for his humor and dedication to his family. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and going on bike rides with his son. Family Of Brothers Who Died Jumping From 'Jaws' Bridge Visit Site For Memorial (Video) The family of two brothers who died on Martha's Vineyard earlier this month visited the site for a memorial to the men this week and to take home their bodies. Though, that could take some time.  Tavaris, 26, and Tavaughn Bulgin, 21, died after jumping from the American Legion Memorial Bridge on Aug. 15 with two other people. The others were not injured.
