Support Swells For Mass 'Warrior' Woman Seriously Injured In Skiing Accident
The community is rallying around an Essex County woman who was seriously injured in a skiing accident. Ana Lynch, of Newburyport, was skiing with family and friends in Big Sky, Montana, on Sunday, March 10, when the accident occurred, according to a GoFundMe. Ski patrol crews quickly got her down the mountain and she was flown by helicopter to a trauma center in Billings. A CT scan revealed that Lynch had suffered a burst T12 vertebra that was causing pressure on her spinal cord. A family is in need of financial support after their 13-year-old was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Acton. Cesar Soto was hit in the crash that happened on Great Road near Harris Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Acton Police and Fire report. Cesar was flown to Boston-area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
