Man, 41, Killed In Multi-Car Crash In Weymouth A three-car crash early Thursday morning, Sept. 29, in Norfolk County claimed the life of a 41-year-old man, authorities said.  The crash happened just after 5 a.m. on Route 3 near Exit 38B in Weymouth, Massachusetts State Police said.  A 2014 Mazda CX5, a 2016 Smart Fortwo, and a 2011 Chevrolet Trailblazer were all involved. Paramedics rushed the 40-year-old driver of the Mazda to South Shore Hospital, where he later died.  Police are withholding his name until authorities can notify his next of kin.  State police are investigating the incident.

Wrong-Way Driver Kills Woman, 25, In Littleton Head-On Crash A driver going the wrong way on a Middlesex County highway led to a head-on collision earlier this week that claimed the life of a 25-year-old Somerville woman will face charges in the fatal crash, police said.  The head-on crash happened just before 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, on Route 2 in Littleton. Wrong-Way Driver From Central Mass Killed In 2-Car Crash On Route 146: Police A wrong-way driver from central Massachusetts was killed in a two-car crash close to the Rhode Island border, authorities said. The 42-year-old man from Douglas died in the crash that happened on Route 146 in Uxbridge around 10:19 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, Massachusetts State Police said.  Initial investigation revealed the man was going the wrong way when he crashed his 2006 Chrysler 300 into a 2019 Mazda CX5 about a half mile from the Rhode Island border.  He sustained serious injuries from the crash and later died at a local hospital, police said.
