An elderly woman was injured on Sunday, Nov. 19, after a car hit her while she was crossing a street in Arlington, according to authorities. Police and firefighters responded to a report of a car crash involving a pedestrian on Park and Wollaston avenues, police in Arlington said. An investigation into the crash revealed that a Toyota Corolla hit the woman as she was crossing Park Avenue in a crosswalk. A 61-year-old Peabody man was struck and killed by a car Sunday night, Oct. 8, authorities announced on Monday. Robert King was rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital just after 7:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car on Summit Street near Christina Drive, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. Haverhill Man, 28, Dies In Methuen Crash, Police Investigate
A young man who was severely injured in an Essex County crash between a Jeep and a motorcycle was pronounced dead soon after, officials say. A 28-year-old Haverhill man died on Wednesday, August 9 when his motorcycle and a Jeep Wrangler crashed at the intersection of Lowell and Arnold streets in Methuen, according to the Methuen Police Department who were notified of the crash around 8:25 p.m. that night. (Update) Boxford Man Charged With Drunk Driving Fatal Crash In Newbury: DA
An Essex County man with an outstanding warrant was arrested for driving drunk in a crash that led to a man's death, officials say. James Turcotte, 63, of Danvers, died after his motorcycle and another motorcycle collided on Route 1 in Newbury on Thursday, July 13, according to the Newbury Police Department. The crash was reported around 7:45 p.m., after which police responded and found Turcotte suffering from serious injuries, but alive.
