Synagogues Victim Of Hoax Bomb Threats In Mass: Police
Multiple places of worship were the victims of hoax bomb threats over the weekend, causing police to evacuate homes and close roads until they could investigate the scenes. An employee at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom at 1112 Main St. in Hingham received an email shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 that said that bombs were inside the synagogue, according to police. The employee left and called 911. Several homes nearby were evacuated, and Main Street (Route 228) was closed in both directions, police said. Explosives Found Inside Home Of Revere Man Charged In Federal Gun Case: Feds
A Suffolk County made facing federal gun charges over an alleged strawman purchase is now facing state charges after officials found explosive material in his home, officials said. Cory John Daigle, 28, of Revere, was charged with possession of an incendiary device on Monday, March 6, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. He was released on his own recognizance with stipulations that he stays away from incendiary material and firearms while awaiting trial. : Essex Police Secure Military Device Found At Newly Sold House
Several homes were evacuated after a potentially explosive military device was found at a recently-sold house in Essex, authorities said. The evacuation was ordered after a cleaning crew found an aging mortar shell at a home on Wood Drive around 10:33 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, Police Chief Paul Francis said.
