Mexican Nationals Caught Smuggling 15 Kilos Of Cocaine Into Massachusetts
Two men from Mexico have been arrested for bringing 15 kilograms of cocaine into Massachusetts valued at more than $500,000 dollars, Massachusetts State Police said on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Gerardo Madrigal Quintero, of Culiacan, Mexico, and Joel Enrique Armenta, of Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, were caught trying to bring the drugs into the state in a tractor-trailer, State Police said.
They were arrested after officers watched a them carry out a drug transaction at the Ludlow Service Plaza on the Mass Pike. Both men have since been charged with trafficking in 200 grams or more of coc…
