Taunton Mother Of 2 ID'd As Person Killed In Crash, Community Rallies To Help Grieving Family
A mother and grandmother described as "adventurous" was killed in a single-car crash, officials say. Pamela Stone, age 54, of Taunton, died on Friday, July 7 as a result of injuries from a car crash in the area of Needham and Main Streets in Norfolk, according to the Norfolk Police Department. The crash involved a sedan smashing into a tree. Stone was transported to a local hospital where she later died. Stone was the youngest daughter of three children, according to her obituary. Authorities have determined that a 54-year-old box truck driver who crashed his vehicle into a Norfolk gas station and over a retaining wall this week was driving under the influence of alcohol. Keith Johnson, of East Greenwich, RI, was charged in connection with the crash that happened at the Daley Service Center at 2 Rockwood Road on Thursday, April 19, Norfolk Police report. Box Truck Dangles Over Wall After Crashing Into Norfolk Gas Station: Police
A box truck driver is recovering after crashing their vehicle through the fence of a gas station parking lot and over a retaining wall in Norfolk this week, according to authorities. Norfolk Police and Fire responded to the crash at Daley Service Center, located at 2 Rockwood Road, around 1:47 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, both departments report.
