Drunken Boston Cop Arrested In Walpole, Placed On Administrative Duty: Police A police officer who got behind the wheel while under the influence is still at work, but off the streets, officials say.  Lieutenant John Earley, of the Boston Police Department, was arrested on Sunday, May 21 by the Walpole Police Department for operating a car while drunk, according to the Boston police.
