The Retirement Trust of Natick claimed the $25,000 a year for life prize that they had won on May 17, 2023. Winning tickets are only good for a year, and after that, they turn back into pumpkins. A retired postal worker has claimed his $100,000 prize in the state lottery with only a few days left before the ticket would have expired. Michael Curtin of Maynard claimed his ticket on Friday, April 19. He said he plans to use the money to upgrade his car. Curtin bought his ticket at Honey Land at 220 Summer St. in Fitchburg. A Springfield man said he knew exactly how he plans to spend the money he won playing the Massachusetts State Lottery. Michael Wesley won $25,000 a year for life in the multi-state Lucky for Life game on Friday, March 8. He claimed his prize on Monday.
