A Massachusetts man is behind bars after state police say he tried to con his way into a Pennsylvania home by posing as a cop. Thomas Rooney, 25, was arrested in Hempfield Township after a resident called police about a suspicious encounter on Friday morning, Jan. 31. The victim told troopers that Rooney knocked on her door, identified himself as a Pittsburgh police officer, and asked to come inside. Man Caught On Video Trying To Go Into Woman’s Watertown Home After Following Her
A woman’s doorbell camera captured the scary moment she was followed by a man who then tried to get into a home she was staying at in Watertown. The woman arrived home on Laurel Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, when the man followed her and hid behind one of the cars parked in the driveway, according to Watertown police. Triple Murder: 3 Elderly Residents Found Stabbed To Death In Newton
The Middlesex District Attorney is asking residents in Newton to be on alert after three "elderly" residents were found murdered in a home on Broadway Street on Sunday morning, June 25, authorities said. As of Sunday night, no arrest had been made. A person who knew the victims called 911 around 10:15 a.m. after they found them stabbed to death, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.
