A crash involving an electric bicycle and a pickup truck left one person dead and another seriously injured in Hingham on Monday, Oct. 30, police said. Officers responded to reports of a crash on Rockland Street and Ringbolt Road around 6:11 a.m., according to Hingham police. Driver Caught Going Over 100 MPH On Same Road As Fatal Hingham Crash: Police
Police arrested a driver who was allegedly going over 100 mph down the same street in Hingham where a fatal crash happened only two days prior. The driver was caught going 104 mph down Lincoln Street around 1:41 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, according to Hingham Police. The speed limit on that street is 40 mph. World War I Medals Among Several Items Stolen From South Shore Home: Police
Authorities are investigating after several expensive and priceless items were stolen from a Hingham condominium complex at the end of last year. The Adams Court condo was ransacked while its residents were away from 1 p.m. on December, 29, 2022 to 3 p.m. on December 30, 2022, Hingham Police said on Facebook. Missing Person Found Dead At Bare Cove Park In Hingham On Thanksgiving: Police
There was a large police presence at Bare Cove Park after police found the body of a missing person, authorities said. Hingham Police did not identify the person but said there is no sign of foul play and no danger to the public. A Massachusetts State Police K9 officer named Frankie died on Tuesday night, July 26, after a 38-year-old suspect shot him during a standoff in Fitchburg earlier that day.
