Wall Partially Falls On Worker At Haverhill Best Western Demolition Site: Police A man was hospitalized after he was partially covered by a falling wall, officials say. The worker was injured around 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17 while working to demolish a wall of the Haverhill Best Western, located at 401 Lowell Avenue, Haverhill Fire Chief Robert O'Brien said.  The worker suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident, O'Brien said. He was transported to a local hospital.  No information has been released about the cause of the incident.

80-Year-Old, Dog Died In Fire Caused By Improper Cigarette Disposal: Officials The identify of the man who was killed in a fire along with a pet dog has been released, along with the cause of the fire, according to officials.  Multiple 911 calls brought firefighters to a multi-family home on 9th Avenue around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 28, according to the Haverhill Fire Department.
