An 85-year-old woman from Maynard is expected to face charges in connection with a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 13-year-old boy last month in Acton, authorities said. Acton Police have filed for a criminal complaint charging the woman with leaving the scene of a crash causing personal injury, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and a crosswalk violation, Chief Richard Burrows reports. A family is in need of financial support after their 13-year-old was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Acton. Cesar Soto was hit in the crash that happened on Great Road near Harris Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Acton Police and Fire report. Cesar was flown to Boston-area hospital where he remains in critical condition. Police have identified a suspect and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a 13-year-old boy in Action earlier this month, authorities said. Acton Police and Fire responded to the crash at Great Road near Harris Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities said.
